One Fast Dream Race Recap

One Fast Dream put together a much improved effort in Friday’s 4th race at Gulfstream Park. As anticipated, he broke well and positioned himself forwardly, tracking in third off of the two early pace setters. The pace was quick to the half-mile (45.87) but One Fast Dream maintained his position into the first turn and down the backstretch. As the field went into the far turn, Jaramillo made an early move and took over the lead in the turn for a brief period. A three-horse charge came after One Fast Dream when they straightened for home. Your 3-year-old colt never quit trying but was unable to maintain the move he made.

The eventual winner Scramble was always moving the best and appeared loaded as he tracked off of One Fast Dream throughout the majority of the race.

The Casse barn was pleased with the effort overall, commenting, “He ran well. He also seems like he’s still learning but we will get there!”

We will follow up in the coming days with a post race update and Beyer Speed Figure as it would be expected this was his career-best race from both a numbers standpoint and visually.
