One Fast Dream Claimed

One Fast Dream was claimed by trainer Victor Barboza following his third-place finish in today’s finale at Gulfstream Park (two-way shake). Breaking well with Irad Ortiz in the irons, One Fast Dream chased the pace down the rail in third down the backstretch under moderate fractions (:22.90 for the first-quarter and :46.67 for the half-mile). Entering the final stretch 4+ lengths from the lead, he tried hard to finish third beaten by 4 1/2 lengths and 1/2 length for second.
