Hero Status Race Recap

Hero Status unfortunately failed to fire this evening after sitting a great trip and was claimed out of the race for $80K by trainer Norm Casse for owner Flying P Stable. He has already passed the post-claim vet exam.

Jockey Brian Hernandez was very happy with the trip, but said when he asked Hero Status for a run in the stretch, he just didn’t have any fight.

Hero Status ran some big races and gave us plenty of enjoyment despite some frustrations, and we will of course keep a very close eye on him moving forward.
