Desire Street 19 Workout Report

Desire Street 19 (outside) worked this morning at Trackside Training Center in company with Midnight Hurricane, an unraced 2-year-old colt by Midnight Storm. The duo breezed 3-furlongs in 36 seconds, which was the bullet for the day out of 13.

Our Speightstown colt has become competitive in his breezes and wants to do more than what is being asked. Cherie DeVaux’s assistant, Pearl, says that Desire Street 19 is mentally ready to do more and could easily beat his workmates by open lengths if allowed. However, DeVaux likes for horses to stay together during breezes along with the concept of gradually increasing speed with the babies.

Pending no setbacks, Desire Street 19’s first start will likely come this winter at Fair Grounds. Please enjoy this video from Desire Street 19’s work this morning.
