Sweet Voyage Race Recap

Sweet Voyage was sixth this afternoon at Turfway Park. Sitting in a good stalking spot in third early, she attempted to make a run around the turn for home, and was in second as they hit the stretch, but was out-kicked in the lane.

There were no obvious excuses for the finish that we can see other than the steep jump in class.

With Turfway’s meet ending next week, we’ll have to go elsewhere for Sweet Voyage’s next start. We’ll discuss options internally and with trainer Jeff Hiles and share a plan when we have it.

Upcoming Events

For all those located in Southern California, we have two events coming up which can be seen below.

Saturday, April 27th: Start your day with a barn tour on the Santa Anita backside. After the barn tour concludes, you will climb aboard the MyRacehorse Seabiscuit Tram Tour and embark on a behind-the-scenes exploration of the track’s backside, receiving barn and paddock gardens. The day will continue during the races with a luxury suite experience.

Saturday, May 4th, and Sunday, May 5th: MyRacehorse will host a Kentucky Derby Watch Party at Santa Anita on May 4th & 5th, with tickets already available for purchase. Following a day at the races on Saturday, Sunday will include a continental breakfast at Clockers’ Corner, a barn tour, and the Seabiscuit Tram tour. Sweet Voyage Update

Sweet Voyage is thoroughly enjoying her time off at Kingfisher Farm according to farm manager Katie Fisher. Your daughter of Candy Ride is currently on a mix of paddock turnout and stall rest at night. Enjoy the video and photo above.
