Sun Valley Road was sold for $90,000 this afternoon at the Keeneland November Breeding Sale to Smoke Bloodstock. We were pleased with this result and we wish her new connections the best of luck. We will try to keep you updated if we hear any news regarding their plans with her.

Our team will now begin the closure process for the series and will follow up once the account has been officially reconciled and closed.

We popped in on Sun Valley Road this afternoon, and she was sure to let us know not to interrupt her quiet time. Your 2-year-old filly is galloping at Ellis Park and doing well since recovering from some shin soreness.

Sun Valley Road is currently loading onto a shipping van and will head to Ellis Park as the Keeneland training grounds clear out to prepare for the upcoming horse sale in September.

Sun Valley Road had a short respite from training so she could get over her tender shins and resumed jogging this morning at Keeneland while being accompanied by the pony. Although minor setbacks in young horses, such as sore shins, can be frustrating, the Brad Cox barn thinks that the time off was a blessing in disguise for Sun Valley Road. Even with such a short amount of time out of training, our filly has filled out greatly and physically matured.

Sun Valley Road breezed three furlongs this morning at Keeneland on the inside of MRH stablemate Who Runs the World. The duo covered the ground 35.4 seconds with a gallop out of 49.0 seconds for the half mile. Sun Valley Road worked well this morning and has been training forwardly under her own talent since returning to training!
