Show Your Cards has settled into Del Mar in good order. During his transit from Santa Anita to Del Mar, he did nick himself which left him with a superficial cut on his right forelimb. This is nothing serious of any sort but may set him back a few days from galloping as the cut heals. The 2-year-old colt will still jog until his is deemed ready to pick up galloping again.

MyRacehorse is going all-in on this year’s Del Mar Summer Meet. We’re planning an array of exciting and exclusive experiences which you won’t want to miss!

If you’re planning to be in Del Mar for Opening Day, we’d like to invite you to an evening of laughter and libations at the Brigantine, a local gem known for its seafood, atmosphere and iconic views of the Del Mar shoreline and racetrack. We’re preparing a fun and casual event in the Brigantine’s spacious outdoor garden on Thursday, July 21st from 6 pm to 8 pm. We’ll be serving heavy hor d’oeuvres and cocktails (each guest will receive one (1) drink ticket) and offering guests the opportunity to chat with trainers, jockeys, TVG personalities and MyRacehorse staff, win custom MyRacehorse/Del Mar merchandise during multiple raffles throughout the night and trade notes with other owners on what this year’s meet has in store.

This annual gathering has turned into a highly anticipated MyRacehorse tradition and we do expect a sell-out. So don’t wait! Tickets are available NOW for $85 per person (non-refundable) on a first-come, first-served basis. Tickets can be purchased here.

We can’t wait to see you!

Note: the Brigantine provides valet parking for $7 per vehicle, or you can find street parking spots in the surrounding areas, some of which are free while others are metered.

Show Your Cards continues to progress in his gallops at Santa Anita Park and has even accomplished some gate schooling already. Trainer Mark Glatt remains pleased with the colt but would like him to build up a little more muscle and weight before taking the next step into breezing. Mark doesn’t feel we’re too far away and believes we will see him breeze before heading to Del Mar (mid-July).
