We were able to check in on Manhattan Twist at our 2025 Ocala Showase event last weekend. He did have that aforementioned knee chip removed successfully and continues to be on a hand-walking routine as he heals.

The team at Two Springs Farm has recommended Manhattan Twist be gelded, and we have given them the green light to go ahead and have that done when they deem it to be the right time. He has been very studdish on the farm, so they feel this would do a world of good for him mentally; plus on the physical side it’ll help keep his weight in check and increase the likelihood that he stays sound. Given his chances at this point of becoming a stallion prospect are very low, we will—as always—prioritize maximizing his racetrack potential.

We stopped by Belmont Park this morning to check on Manhattan Twist, who resumed light training yesterday following his illness that took quite a bit out of him. He will continue to jog for a week or two before getting back in the groove of a more demanding training pattern to get him to a race-worthy fitness level. It is likely that his next race will be some time in February.
