We wanted to congratulate your trainer Mark Glatt for finishing fourth in the Santa Anita Classic Meet trainers’ standings. Mark had 110 runners during the meet with an impressive win rate of 21% (23 wins) and 50% ITM (In the money). Notable winners during that meet were the MyRacehorse-owned Hero Status, but his meet was capped off with an eye-catching stakes win from a 2-year-old in training purchase First Peace in the John Shear Stakes.
On Jan. 30th, our team visited with Kindle ‘21 and Wavertree trainer Ciaran Dunne, who provided you with an update on where the 2-year-old colt stands in his training. We love hearing that the son of American Pharoah is a very confident horse and will be ready for his first speed work later this month.
Earlier this year, Kindle ‘21’s family grew with the arrival of his baby sister, a foal by Authentic! For those of you new to the MyRacehorse community, Authentic was campaigned by MRH and won the 2020 Kentucky Derby, Breeders’ Cup Classic, and was named Horse of the Year for his stellar 3-year-old campaign. He now is standing his third season at stud at Spendthrift Farm for his MRH partners. This foal by Authentic pictured above is owned by HnR Nothhaft Horse Racing LLC and is considered a half-sister to your colt because they share the same dam, Kindle.
