HORSE OVERVIEW
A classic looking filly by Into Mischief, the industry’s most in demand stallion, to be trained by Hall of Fame trainer Todd Pletcher.
What else can you say about the offspring of Into Mischief? Everywhere you look they’re winning! Win early, win going short, long, turf, dirt, American classics; they do it all. With progeny earnings of over $100 million, Into Mischief is well on his way to becoming one of the most prominent stallions to ever hit the breeding shed.
The biggest trait of the best Into Mischief offspring has always been their devastating speed, and now they’re demonstrating the ability to stretch that speed out to be major players in the American classic races (see breeding insights below).
This filly certainly looks the part of the new-age Into Mischief offspring. She’s built powerfully to possess speed with good stretch to her body frame that will only fill out more as she grows into herselft. Her dam side suggests stretching out could be well within her limits. Second dam Our Dreamer produced Broken Dreams and Caribou Club who were both Graded Stakes winners around two turns. These traits make this filly a great fit for our specially designed Fasig-Tipton Select Six Bonus.
Fasig-Tipton Select Six Bonus
This filly comes with a $2 million bonus designed specifically for horses purchased by MRH at the 2021 Fasig-Tipton Saratoga Sale of Selected Yearlings. If this filly were to win the Kentucky Oaks shareholders would be paid a $2 million bonus ($200/share prior to fees). Unlike some of our past offerings where the bonus was split in partnership with co-owners, this bonus would be paid out only to MRH shareholders.
Breeding Insights
Into Mischief, currently this year’s leading general sire in the Northern Hemisphere, stood the 2021 breeding season at Spendthrift Farm for a stud fee of $225,000 and is one of the world’s most sought-after sires.
A half-brother to champions Beholder and Mendelssohn, Into Mischief began his stud career for a modest cover fee of $12,500, but he quickly established himself as a prominent stallion when his son Goldencents took back-to-back editions of the Breeders’ Cup Dirt Mile and is now himself a successful sire.
Into Mischief progeny come to the racetrack with running on their minds. His offspring include 2018 Florida Derby winner Audible, 2019 Breeders’ Cup Filly and Mare Sprint winner Covfefe, 2020 Kentucky Derby winner Authentic, and the leading three-year old of 2021, Mandaloun.
The Northern Hemisphere’s leading general sire in 2019 and 2020, Into Mischief has seen his progeny earn over $100 million on the racetrack since he entered stud in 2009. Just this year alone, his runners in North America and abroad have racked-up $15 million in purse earnings.
The filly’s dam Ricketyracketyruss has produced 5 foals of racing age with 3 winners, including this filly’s full sister Yes to Mischief. The filly’s second dam Our Dreamer, by the legendary Storm Cat, produced Graded Stakes winners Broken Dreams and Caribou Club.
