Classic Cut Workout Report

Apologies for the missed workout update last week. Following breezing his second half-mile in 49.40 at Oaklawn Park last Sunday, Classic Cut had his first breeze from the gate this morning. The 3-year-old son of Empire Maker worked a half-mile in 48.40 (7/109) while breezing in company with his regular workmate She’s a Rocket. With the weather that moved into the Hot Springs area this afternoon and evening, the Cox team opted to work him back in six days versus in order to work over a better track.

While he still has some way to go from a fitness standpoint, Classic Cut continues to make forward strides in his progression.
