Hero Status Update

Hero Status continues to look great on the track. The past week of weather and additional rain expected this week will likely delay us one week before having his first breeze at Santa Anita.

“The training schedule due to weather hasn’t been ideal of course but I’m very happy with him. He may still look a little soft, meaning fitness wise but that will come. Given we took it slow with him due to returning off some tendonitis, we are not too far off of the original schedule from when he first got in. Mentally, he is still catching our eye. He’s classy,” said trainer Mark Glatt.

In a perfect world, Hero Status may get his first minor breeze, which will be unrecorded, a week from today, Monday January 3rd.
