Vow Workout Report

Vow (outside) worked a half mile this morning with her regular rider, Yovani, aboard. She worked in company with Burninhunkoflove, an unraced 2-year-colt by Munnings. The duo covered the ground in 52.60 seconds.

Trainer Al Stall Jr. worked Vow in draw reins this morning to keep her in control and to prevent her from being too headstrong. The use of the draw reins, which she gallops in, and having her regular gallop rider aboard, was done so Vow could approach the work in a more relaxed manner coming to the pole and with her not anticipating it was an actual work. Additionally, the draw reins kept Vow from going faster, hence the slower time.

Al was pleased with today’s work, specifically Vow’s strong gallop out. This was her last breeze before her target race on November 21st.
